You have to see this google idea of traveling. If you'll seek a way from Chicago to London, you'll find very interesting to swim over the ocean to get there.
Here you'll find the path that Google proposed. I thing it is a good exercise for travelers, 'cause getting there on plains and boats aren't so ecological like swimming.
